Thai Saree
About This Spot
Walking into Thai Saree, you’re immediately embraced by a calm and inviting rhythm that reflects both the gentle warmth of Southeast Asia and the laid-back charm of Fort Walton Beach. It’s the kind of place where the pace slows just enough to remember what it feels like to savor a meal – not rush through it. The soft hum of quiet conversations blends with the fragrant wafts of curry and fresh herbs, creating an atmosphere that feels handcrafted and familiar.
This cozy neighborhood eatery offers more than just food; it offers an experience in thoughtful balance—where bold spices meet delicate freshness, and every bite feels like a conversation around a well-loved table. Whether you’re drawn in by the vibrant, herb-strewn salads that tease the palate with bright, lively notes or the rich, comforting depth of a slow-simmered green curry, there’s a sense of discovery in every dish.
Thai Saree’s kitchen clearly honors tradition while inviting a humble sense of adventure. Here, the menu isn’t just a list; it’s a map for those curious about the nuanced flavors of Thailand’s coastal and inland regions alike. The meals arrive with warm smiles and the quiet confidence of a place that knows its craft and takes joy in sharing it without hurry or fuss.
Regulars appreciate how the experience extends beyond the plate: welcoming nods from familiar faces, a friendly chat, and the subtle attentiveness that makes each visit feel more like catching up with an old friend than dining out. Despite its modest size, the space feels large enough to hold the kind of stories and moments that invite you back again and again.
Whether stopping in for a late-night craving or settling down for a slower lunchtime meal, Thai Saree offers a sense of connection—to flavors, to community, and to that quiet pleasure of finding a place where food feels like home.

Please bring back the lunch buffet!!! It was one of the best lunch options in Fort Walton Beach and always seemed busy at lunch time. Why did the lunch buffet end? The curries here are very good. The Pad Thai and Drunken noodles are good. In general, the food is very good. I just wish they were still open for lunch.

We ordered from Thai Saree very late on Uber eats and it was phenomenally good. After a late night and a long drive we couldn’t believe how good this place was and it’s open until midnight. We liked it so much we went in person to order more the VERY NEXT DAY. The sweet little lady at the front was so wonderful and kind. She remembered our order from the night before and suggested a few favorite dishes for us to try. All the curries are very very good. My favorite is the chicken Larb but the Yum Nam Tok was also excellent. If you want something that tastes like comfort food and it very healthy and full of veggies that warms the soul, get the rice soup! All the food tastes homemade and made with love. 10/10 if you’re ordering food to be delivered or picked up!!!!

This was my first visit to try this small all you can eat buffet. Price after taxes is $10.55 and in my opinion is a great one compared to the selection of foods available. The selection is not as wide in some other buffets, but they had some foods that I haven't seen anywhere else. Most of the meals were a little too spicy for me, but probably barely registratable for other people. There were two kinds of soups with several meats, noodles, vegetables available for you to put in. All the food looked fresh and was fantastic, although I was there shortly after opening. Place was not really busy, but there were several people already having lunch. Will definitely be back to try more of the food they have there.

Anytime I order from here, the food has been consistent and delicious! For you foodies with adventurous taste, the Goi or Raw Beef Salad is a must! I always get the spice level of hot and it is perfect. The seasoning is amazing along with the fresh herbs in it and the Jasmine rice served on the side. I promise you will love!

Some of the best food I've ever eaten, the cook is very talented. I had the sweet and sour beef stir fry made spicy and all the flavors were in perfect harmony. The egg drop soup is nostalgic, reminding me of my childhood. Try it for yourself

My family and I have been going to Thai Saree for over 25 years. We’ve had Thai food a LOT of other places in the US, and when I tell you literally none compare, I mean it. It’s always a treat to come back to Ft. Walton just to eat here. It is authentic and the quality and taste of the food has not wavered in over 25 years. They have the BEST Pad Thai hands down. Our other favorites are the Thai Omelette (no one makes it like them), Thai Noodle Soup (add meatball), and their Papaya Salad (they can make it so spicy it will make you regret your life). Please support this small business, you won’t regret it.

Just look at these pics of amazing gyoza, spring rolls and egg drop soup. The fried rice was pretty good but the other three were fantastic. The fried gyoza was crispy and perfectly crunchy. The drizzle was deep and flavorful. The soup was more watery than say a Japanese version, but care in how it was cooked and added herbs. Definitely worth a try.
